ceiling to paint (not my favorite job !) i want a crisp white.

medium grey on the walls. walls are damaged, we bought some wallpaper that looks like paint.

the ugly reddish tiles on the floor have to go/disappear. we're considering senso rustic, self-adhesive, so easy and looks like real wood (no kidding).

new wooden baseboards will be painted white like the ceiling and doors. to remove the tiled ones made me so happy, how I've always hated them !

we also need to re-wire in order to have a wall lamp above the door you see on picture #1. there hasn't been any lamp at all on this landing so far. but the wires were provided in the wall, therefore it is a matter of extending them. we're not huge fans of ceiling lamps anyway, so it makes it more simple.

wooden ceiling are the worst Abby !
I have a bandana tied on my hair to "escape" the white paint ;P and you can't use a roll but have to use a brush, it's harder on your arms (muscles) !
thanks for sharing :)

I agree, that painting ceilings (or anything overhead for that matter) is no fun! I guess it is a nice workout for the arms and shoulders though.

Sometimes I find demolition work to be very satisfying :) It is a thrill to pull out something you have wanted to get rid of from the start.
